X-WR-CALDESC:Just over ten years ago\, The Gathering Place was experiencing
  such rapid growth that our building was almost bursting at the seams. We 
 desperately needed more space to meet the growing demand for our services.
  In 2006\, we temporarily relocated from 1535 High Street so we could tear
  down and rebuild in the very spot our members had come to know and could 
 so easily access. Then in September 2007\, we re-opened our doors with a 2
 8\,800 square-foot\, state-of-the art facility meticulously designed with 
 input from members and neighbors that allows us to extend our services to 
 8\,000 women and children through 60\,000 visits each year. This September
 \, we're celebrating the tenth anniversary of the opening of The Gathering
  Place facility at 1535 High Street—an accomplishment only made possible b
 y the generous support from our loyal donors and volunteers. Together\, we
 'll ensure our space remains a transformational place for years to come.
