  • To maintain a safe, caring, nurturing, non-judgmental and healthy environment for members, their children and families while assisting families in connecting to and navigating internal and external resources that address families’ unique needs.

  • This position contributes to creating a low-barrier, safe, and inclusive environment for guests staying at TGP’s Emergency Shelter who are experiencing homelessness and often times are struggling with issues such as mental health, physical heath, substance misuse, and/or complex trauma. TGP’s 24/7 non-congregate emergency shelter program provides residential-style shelter in a former motel through a contract with Denver’s office of Housing Stability (HOST). This position is responsible for supporting the needs of guests in a trauma-informed and respectful manner and completing the day-to-day operational tasks of the shelter.

  • The Director of Human Resources provides vision, leadership, planning, project coordination and management of the organization’s human resources function, while concurrently facilitating efficient operations of HR functions to meet current and future business needs within the organization. This includes primary responsibility for supporting managers and supervisors in appropriately leading their teams and supporting employee well-being, while also maintaining compliance with all applicable employment laws, rules, and regulations.
    The Director of Human Resources is also responsible for providing meaningful guidance and support to TGP’s Executive Team in sustaining a healthy workplace culture and advancing equity, diversity, inclusion in the workplace. TGP is a growing organization, with approximately 20 employees at its 24/7 emergency shelter location, and approximately 30 employees at its day center and administrative headquarters.

  • The Food Program prepares and serves healthy, nutritious meals to adults and children accessing programming and services at The Gathering Place. The Head Cook works with the Food Program Manager and supports the daily operations of TGP’s Food Program and the kitchen. This position is responsible for the full range of kitchen duties including preparing, cooking, and serving meals, menu planning and cleaning while maintaining a safe, sanitary and healthy environment.

  • The purpose of this position is to provide evidenced-based, culturally responsive adult education and employment support for members. Services are delivered through assessment, goal setting, employment case management, and resource navigation to assist with skill development, connection to educational/training opportunities, job readiness and job search and placement.
