  • This position is responsible for welcoming members and creating a safe environment at The Gathering Place as well as offering basic services and managing crisis that arise.

  • This position contributes to creating a safe and welcoming environment at the Women’s Auxiliary Shelter for shelter guests who are experiencing homelessness and often times are struggling with issues such as mental health, physical heath, substance misuse, and/or complex trauma. Shelter Associates provide basic services, milieu management, and crisis intervention.

  • The Bilingual Resource Advocate is responsible for welcoming members and creating a safe environment at The Gathering Place as well as offering basic services and managing crisis that arise.

  • This position contributes to creating a safe and welcoming environment at the Women’s Auxiliary Shelter for shelter guests who are experiencing homelessness and often times are struggling with issues such as mental health, physical heath, substance misuse, and/or complex trauma. The Shift Lead provide staff support, milieu management, and crisis intervention.

  • The purpose of this position is to develop and implement evidenced-based, culturally responsive programming to meet the wellness and recovery needs of TGP members. The position oversees and manages the program operations, administrative responsibilities and staffing of the Wellness Program which include wellness, art and peer recovery activities and support. The program manager must operate with a broad understanding of the impacts of trauma, substance misuse and mental health and physical health conditions to ensure the Wellness Program maintains low barrier and member-centered services.

  • The Wellness Peer Navigator works as a member of the Wellness team in the Peer Recovery Program to provide recovery support services and service navigation to members at The Gathering Place. The Wellness Peer Navigator helps members who may be in various stages of recovery from trauma, homelessness, substance abuse and mental health issues. By providing support, encouragement and connection to resources the Wellness Peer Navigator helps members to meaningfully engage in their own recovery process towards wellness, recovery and greater stability. The Wellness Peer Navigator supports the Wellness Program in providing direct services to members. Navigators should come to this position with lived experience as described below.
    Lived Experience: This person has personal experience with substance misuse and/or mental health conditions, but is now maintaining stability. They are in recovery and can model recovery for others. This position will be most successful if the Navigator has personal experience with mental health resources and/or substance treatment services in the Denver Metro Area.
