  • Clothing Items

Thank you to our generous partner, Assistance League of Denver, for supplying almost all of the clothing items needed for our clothing bank, Bridget's Boutique!

We can only accept clothing during our Clothing Donation Acceptance Day, which takes place on the first Wednesday of every month from 9AM until 12PM. We can accept up to three garbage bags of clothing per donor due to limited onsite storage, staff, and volunteer capacity. Because most of our members get jobs in the service and labor industries, we prioritize comfortable casualwear such as jeans, sweatpants, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes.

Due to limited storage space, we can ONLY accept the following new and gently used clothing that is seasonally appropriate:

    We accept:

    • In-season clothing for all genders
    • Plus sized clothes
    • Tops, t-shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts
    • Bottoms, leggings, jeans, sweatpants
    • Outerwear, jackets, coats, vests
    • Bras, sports bras, bralettes
    • Pajamas, loungewear
    • Dresses (no formal dresses or gowns)
    • All shoes, especially tennis shoes/sneakers and boots
    • Accessories, hats, gloves, scarves, jewelry, belts, bags
    • NEW ONLY underwear for all sizes and genders

We CANNOT accept the following items for donation:

    • Out of season clothing
    • High heels
    • Used underwear or socks
    • Swimwear
    • Formal or dress attire
    • Anything more than 5 years old
    • Anything with holes, stains, or tears
    • Anything dirty, smelly, or covered in pet hair

Note: Please wash and fully dry all clothing prior to donating to The Gathering Place.

If you can't make it during our Clothing Donation Day or have more to donate, please consider making your donation to our local partner nonprofits, The Assistance League of Denver, who provides most of the clothing for Bridget's Boutique, or ARC Thrift Stores, who provides over $5,000 worth of vouchers for our members to shop for free.
