Individual Volunteers
Volunteers are vital partners in care and advocacy, helping us build authentic relationships with marginalized individuals and families facing poverty and homelessness.
Building genuine relationships is a vital part of supporting our members as they gain stability and purpose. For this reason, we generally ask volunteers to commit to a weekly shift for a minimum of 3 months, especially if their role involves working directly with members.
General requirements for all positions:
- Age 18+
- Passion and commitment for our mission, the services we provide, and addressing the systemic barriers that our members face through a trauma-informed approach
- Volunteers typically commit to a weekly 2-4 hour shift during our business hours:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 8:30am-5:00pm
- Tuesdays – 8:30am-1:30pm
- We do not have weekend volunteer opportunities available
