Bridget's Boutique is our clothing bank that distributes clothing to members who have an emergency need or require something specific for the workplace. Members interested in accessing Bridget's Boutique can make an appointment at our Resource Desk.
Bridget's Boutique depends on volunteers to operate and serve the members of The Gathering Place. If you're interested in volunteering with Bridget's Boutique, please contact our Volunteer Program Manager Ashley Boland at (303) 996-9028 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bridget's Boutique is currently in need of:
- New socks
- New underwear
- New large size bras (38-44, D-H)
- Up to 20 items on hangers of new or gently used men’s clothing, non-gender-specific clothing, and large women or men’s clothing sizes XL-4X
If you have any questions about Bridget's Boutique, or to schedule a donation that is larger than 20 items, please contact our Volunteer Program Specialist Leah Weisgal at 303-996-9046 or email@example.com.
Due to storage constraints, we cannot always accept used clothing donations. If you call and we share that we are not accepting clothing donations, please consider donating your items to our partner agencies.
Alternative Donation Options:
arc Thrift Stores – clothing and household items
You can donate items we are unable to accept—furniture, books, toys, home décor, linens, blankets, sports items, garage items, and more—to arc Thrift Stores on behalf of The Gathering Place. For these donations, arc Thrift Stores will provide vouchers to The Gathering Place to distribute to our members to shop for the specific items they need. arc can also arrange to pick up your donations. USAgain – any fabric items
Clothing and other fabric items can be deposited in the USAgain bin behind our building. This company reimburses The Gathering Place per pound donated. Those funds are used to purchase new socks and underwear for Bridget’s Boutique. (www.usagain.com)
WeeCyle - baby gear
WeeCycle accepts new and very gently used in-kind donations for infants and toddlers ages 0-3. They distribute your donations to the families who need it most through our network of community-based organizations located throughout the Denver Metro area. (http://weecycle.org/)
